Since we began thinking about Hello Rewind, people have been asking us a lot of questions. We thought we'd put the most frequently asked ones on this site. Feel free to contact us if you want to ask anything else.
How are you supporting sex trafficking survivors?

Why does this laptop sleeve cost $49?
We've thought long and hard about our pricing model. At our size, $49 is pretty much a break-even point for us. It's a daunting operation with a lot of training and work with the sex trafficking survivors. Every penny we make goes into helping the women, shipping our products, and sustaining the business. Outside of the sex trafficking survivors, everyone working on this project has been a volunteer. With all these constraints, if we could price at a lower price, we would -- but it's not economically feasible for us. When you buy at $49, you do so much to support what we're working towards.
What kind of t-shirt works best for Hello Rewind?
The best tee has (1) an interesting design on the front (or back) and (2) enough material to cover your computer. Baby doll tees are difficult to work with, since they may be too small to cut out an entire sleeve. And even though we wash and iron every shirt before cutting it up, it would help us if it wasn't (too) stinky.
How long does it take to receive my laptop sleeve?
We estimate 4-8 weeks from the time you order. We need to first mail you an envelope so you can send in your t-shirt, wait to receive your t-shirt, and then begin sewing your sleeve. We'll try our hardest to get it out to you as soon as possible, but as we're still getting off the ground, there may be unforeseen kinks in the process.
Do you ship internationally?
If you want to place an international order, please email us directly. Extra shipping charges will apply to international orders.
How protective is this laptop sleeve, anyway?
We don't just use your t-shirt! We add a middle layer of batting and an inner soft felt layer, making it extra-cushioned from the elements. However, the laptop sleeve is not meant to be used as armor, so please exercise discretion in what you bump it against.
Can you customize my sleeve (e.g. make a strap, add a zipper, stitch some penguins)?
Not at this time for individual orders. Please email us if you have a larger custom order that you'd like extra features for, and we'll see if we can accommodate you.
